I like to post on Instagram, but this week got away from me with medical issues. #tired #family #kids #noexcuses
I posted three times on the same night, which won't do much help to my followers and owing a business. I have learned from this experience that social media takes a lot of work and time management. Luckily, if one dives into facebook and instagram they try to make it easy to post when needed. you can set up timied posts and target your audience at different times. I have learned that moving forward I would have to set up days in advance three posts a day. One in the morning, afternoon, and lat evenings. I would do these different times because I would be targeting different people. As some people are morning, night owls, etc.
My posts would have been more effective if I spread them out over the past week. This would have been the most effective use of the scheulded posting feature. Posting directly from Facebook is one of the best options as for me it is easier to work on a large screen since smaller screens are harder for me to use and work with.
One had an image of my workstation and my small little stuido. So I used: #simple #magic #workstation #voiceover. One had an image of a person pulling out there hair. The comment I left was having a hard time finding the right voice. Click link in bio. So I used the hashtags #ginatompkinvoiceover, #acting #voiceover #learn #voiceoverlife My final post was another video clip with me practicing in the studio. I used the hastags #coachin #workinghard #voiceover #getbetter. I did use the feature on facebook to get an idea of what the trending hastags are at this time. That was helpful, however I mostly used #'s that are revelant to my image and what I was doing in the photo. I feel that may be a bit more relateable.
Overall, during this expeirence my take aways are better planning is always key and use the tools facebook has created to make a post alot easier.
